Big Day Out in Auckland-- any Burners going?

So this is a little off-topic but I don't know ANYONE out in NZ and need to find a way to Big Day Out from Tokoroa. I also need to find a way to pay for my ticket but get someone to hold it for me (unless they can send me an e-ticket? do you know?) and I don't know any group of people I trust more than my Burning Man and soon-to-be-Kiwiburn friends.

Come ON guys this is RAGE AGAINST THE FU*KING MACHINE we're talking about. As well as a host of other rockin artists.
If anyone has an ideas that would help me out here they would be GREATLY appreciated!!!

    Hitch hike or bus it is all I can offer for the moment. About the ticket, have you asked if they can hold the ticket for you at the gates? Like how they do for bm

      They dont hold tickets at the gate, and im pretty sure i heard a rumour the other day that bdo tickets are sold out? I dont know if that is actually true or not but maybe you better double check.

        Some of the Australia BDOs have sold out (tho you can still get in on a raffle) but not Auckland yet. YET. I want to get my freaking ticket! Whatever, if worst comes to worst then I'll just post up in front of the gates and buy/borrow/beg a ticket off someone, but I'd rather have it from the get-go and avoid all that hassle.

          Are you in NZ now? Cause you can just buy a ticket online and get it sent to your house or wherever your staying - premier.ticketek.co.nz/shows/show.aspx

            No I'm in the states right now, I get out to NZ about a week before BDO. I emailed the site and they said:

            a) there is no way to mail tix outside the country (bs if I ever heard it)
            b) Auckland BDO "historically" does not sell out, and I should just get a ticket when I get there

            I understand historical precedent, but this is Rage's 1st tour since they got back together, no one knows how long it will last, and I HAVE to see them. So, ticketless, I am still a sad monkey. :( :( :(

              well if you REALLY wanted you can order one and get it sent to my place and il keep it safe for ya untill you get to NZ, will you be coming through auckland? I mean this is just a suggestion, seeing as we havnt actually met and all or anything lol (and i am a bit of a cheeky darkie!)

              And im sure i could give you aplace to stay or something if you need it for a night or two.
