  In some ways it would have been better to have Splore before KB so the awesomeness could build up gradually. Rather than having KB and then a commercial festival afterwards.
  
  I do have a little plan for Splore which is to rent (or even better, borrow) a boat and anchor off the beach at Tapapakanga. That way we'd have a very civilised floating camp with the ability to row/swim/kayak across to the festival as we wanted. Any takers?

    We moved it up a week so that Kiwiburn '08 was before school started...
    
    Splore is the same week that we had KB '07, so at least we aren't in conflict!
    
    I hear ya, though. After KB07 I just wanted to go home and nest, not deal with a commercial environment.

      Yeah, I went to Soundsplash the week after (2 weeks after?) KB07 and was very underwhelmed. Splore is better than Soundsplash though.
