butterfly wings

i want some for kiwiburn next year.
i want them to be full size, as tall as i am, and i want them to be amazing.
any suggestions of how to make them? what to use? ideas?

    This is the number for Cheryl (The Fairy Lady).
    Shes from Waiheke Island and is probably the best wing designer/ maker around.
    She makes wings to order.
    Shes a bit strange as well.

      Slightly off topic but the first year i was out at the burn i bumped into some people that had fire fairy wings, the tips had kevlar wiking worked into the design, very very cool, :)

    you need extra strong chicken wire like stuff if they're going to be that big, pliers, cutters, stockings and color (dye, sparkles, sequins, spangles etc) there are online instructions for making wings that are pretty good and let your imagination come through - just google 'making wings' or something similar......look forward to seeing 'em, sure won't miss u then :P

                Dont you worry we'll be bringing it back for some ASS WHOOPIN!... it maybe more than a "thunder teepee" next year, depends on how much recources etc we can get ; )

                  It's my first year and I don't wanna muck it up for the regulars :) maybe in 2009 i'll have the cajones to build something and haul it over from Sydney!

                    Haha your not getting out of it that easily. Since when did being a virgin stop anyone doing something huh? PARTICIPATION!! if you got any ideas or wanna help just put your hand up, it will be most very welcomed, theres no such thing as mucking something up at Kiwiburn...
